Job Summary
General Maintenance role supports store operations by completing work order service requests, performing preventive maintenance, and overseeing service contractors for tasks including electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC-related work, painting, carpentry, and other building trades. Responsibilities include lamp/fixture repairs, pump and fixture installations, drain cleaning, diagnostics, energy-conservation and waste-management-related tune-ups, maintaining equipment, and performing a variety of maintenance tasks with emphasis on practical, hands-on work and adherence to procedures. Requires ability to work with and supervise others, strong mechanical aptitude, and relevant maintenance experience. This position is part-time and eligible for benefits such as dental, vision, 401k, and paid holidays/vacation. Bass Pro Shops is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or 1-2 year vocational training
- High mechanical ability
- Must also be willing to work with and oversee the work of others
- Verifiable experience in maintenance related work fields
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities: customer service-oriented, polite and courteous demeanor, able to work with and oversee others
- Experience demonstrating skill in various building trades listed above
