General Maintenance Mechanic - FT - Days

Maintain the building, grounds, and physical plant to ensure a safe, efficient environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Perform day-to-day routine repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment including vehicles, laundry machines, HVAC systems, and structural components. Install and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems while advising managers of job status or delays. Train on machinery operations in power plants and mechanical rooms, and prepare areas for painting. Leave work areas clean and secure all tools and equipment at shift's end. Respond to emergency conditions and call supervisors when necessary. Adhere to all policies and procedures, attend mandatory educational programs, and demonstrate initiative to meet departmental goals.
