Job Summary
Maintain hotel facilities through painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other maintenance tasks; perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms and equipment including ice machines, refrigeration, kitchen and laundry gear, HVAC systems, and pool/spa components; repair and replace fixtures, filters, and other components; follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures; respond to alarms and guest requests with professional, timely service; communicate findings to Front Desk; cross-train for related duties as needed; demonstrate strong general mechanical ability, safe tool use, problem-solving, and attention to detail; adapt to emergency situations and ensure guest safety; maintain clean and organized work areas; comply with Azul Hospitality policies and attendance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education required
- Three to five years of experience in general building trades, with technical building maintenance (commercial) background preferred
- Ability to provide and maintain a valid drivers license
- Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- English fluency required
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally; push/pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs. occasionally
