General Maintenance Laborer (Part Time)

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• •1-3 years related experience and/or training
• •Equivalent combination of education and experience
• •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• •Ability to write simple correspondence
• •Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• •Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• •Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• •Basic computer skills
• •Use of common hand tools to perform basic repair and maintenance on buildings, facilities, and/or equipment
• •Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects
• •Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
• •Must be available to work some evenings and/or weekends
• •Must pass driving record issued by Risk Management
• •Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• •Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• •Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
