General Maintenance Laborer (Part Time)

Job Summary
Conduct general building and facility maintenance to ensure a safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public. Perform cleaning, garbage removal, and groundskeeping tasks including sweeping, mowing, and trimming. Execute manual labor such as loading, unloading, and moving materials, while operating forklifts, front loaders, and other equipment on and off track. Carry out basic repairs for track equipment, mowers, hand tools, buildings, and facilities as needed. Maintain a safe working area and drive company-owned vehicles including golf carts. Available for some evenings and weekends; position is safety sensitive. No travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer skills
- Use of common hand tools to perform basic repair and maintenance on buildings, facilities, and/or equipment
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects
- Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
- Must be available to work some evenings and/or weekends
- Must pass driving record issued by Risk Management
