Job Summary
Lubricate machines, braiders, and winders; vacuum, blow off, and mop floors. Disassemble, rebuild, and replace carriers; operate the degreaser and wash spools. Clean break rooms, restrooms, and grounds; collect trash and recycle material waste. Perform changeovers and assist with air wash maintenance, including cleaning and replacing filters. Maintain equipment such as line shafts and worm gears using basic hand tools and an electric oil cart. Work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with potential schedule variation. Forklift license and lockout certification required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift license
- Lock out certification
- Ability to stand, squat, and bend at the waist for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work with hands above head and to use them in a repetitive motion for a noticeable period of time
- Ability to lift between 20-50 lbs. on occasion
