Job Summary
Maintains guest rooms and hotel common areas, performs preventive maintenance and repairs to keep the property in safe, compliant condition; handles basic repairs to furniture, appliances and electrical equipment (televisions, refrigerators, lighting); manages supplies, follows safety protocols, and communicates with hotel staff to ensure smooth operations. Requires flexible schedule including weekends/evenings and the ability to lift/move heavy objects; strong customer service orientation and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- 1-2 Years of hotel maintenance experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Thrives in a flexible environment and can switch tasks quickly
- Basic maintenance certification/accreditation preferred
- Is a team player
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Ability to work weekends and evenings (required)
