Job Summary
Establish a maintenance program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas by repairing production equipment safely and quickly after breakdowns. Fabricate and install new equipment while maintaining machinery according to the Preventative Maintenance Program. Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete assigned projects, adhering to all company, HSE, and Quality policies. Utilize safe work habits and appropriate PPE while working in a fast-paced environment. Requires a Journeyman's License, five years of trade experience, and ability to work overtime and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman's License and/or a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Five years experience in one or more of the following trades: Millwright, Building Maintenance, Machinist, Electrical/Electronic, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Ability to read precision gauges
- Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
