General Machinist

Job Summary
Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment including CNC machines, manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses. Support multiple manufacturing departments based on production priorities by reading blueprints, setting up machines to produce precision components, and monitoring operations for efficiency and quality. Inspect completed parts using measuring equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Produce precision-machined components that meet demanding quality standards and assist with additional manufacturing tasks as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Machinist apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on machining experience.
- Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
