Job Summary
General Machine Operator position responsible for safely controlling production machinery (press, bindery, mailing inserter) per prints and specifications. Offers on-the-job training, first/second shift with potential seasonal overtime. Ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn, grow, and advance within the company. Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, loading/unloading materials, reviewing schedules and job specifics, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, assisting with day-to-day operations, and performing other duties as assigned. Prior experience with print production machines is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a motivated self-starter and eager to learn, grow, and seek future promotion
- Must be organized, mechanically inclined, and be able to maintain attention to detail
- Must be able to follow instructions, be teachable, and able to multi-task
- Must be able to repeatedly life and re-stack up to 50 lbs through a work shift
- Prior experience using print production machines, preferred
