Job Summary
General Liability Pre Suit Attorney in Houston, TX responsible for day-to-day handling of pre-litigation work, guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, completing TD approval for liability issues, overseeing settlement negotiations and demand packages, managing the release approval process, and leading a team of 6-10 Case Managers. Focus on personal injury cases, primarily general liability, with KPI-driven performance and EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements. Requires a law degree, active TX State Bar membership, 1+ years of personal injury experience, and strong leadership, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Role supports a trial team and reports to Pre-Suit Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the TX State Bar Association
- 1+ years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
- Desire to become part of a trial team
