Job Summary
General Liability Pre Suit Attorney in Downtown Memphis, TN. Responsibilities include day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work, completing the Flip-to-Lit approval, guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, completing TD approval for liability issues, overseeing settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages, managing the release approval process, and leading a team of 6–10 Case Managers. Focus on personal injury cases, primarily general liability, with duties around EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements; drive compliance and KPIs among the team. Reports to Pre-Suit Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the TN State Bar Association
- 1+ years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
- Desire to become part of a trial team
