Job Summary
General Liability/Construction Attorney with minimum 8 years of litigation experience to join a leading defense litigation team. Handles general liability, construction-related lawsuits, transportation/trucking matters, and related disputes. Strong preference for experience as first and/or second chair and for familiarity with NY Construction Law (Labor Law §§200, 240, 241); OSHA regulatory exposure is a plus. Hybrid, flexible work arrangement; potential placement in Long Island, White Plains, or New York City offices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in general liability and construction-related matters
- Experience with insurance defense, premises liability, and as first and/or second chair is strongly desired
- Advanced understanding of NY Construction Law (Labor Law §§200, 240, 241) preferred but not required
- Experience with OSHA proceedings and regulatory compliance is a plus
- Hybrid, flexible working arrangements; offices in Long Island, White Plains or New York City
