Job Summary
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare financial statements and reports, analyze variances, and support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and resolve intercompany reconciliation discrepancies while maintaining accurate records for all GL transactions. Requires 5 to 8 years of experience, proficiency in Zoho or Tally, and advanced Excel skills. Located in Choolaimedu (Nungambakkam) with a monthly salary of ₹30,000.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in general ledger accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally )
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
