General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary
General Ledger Accountant role supporting LATAM entities, remotely from Argentina. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining General Ledger journal entries with documentation, managing monthly close (journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting), ensuring balance sheet and P&L accuracy under US GAAP and Local GAAP, preparing reconciliations, supporting statutory financial statements and GAAP reconciliations, coordinating intercompany transactions and closing activities, assisting with audits and leadership reporting packages, and supporting tax filings (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes). The candidate will work with ERP systems (Oracle), advanced Excel, and contribute to process improvements with a focus on accuracy and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, global environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or Record-to-Report processes
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- English advanced proficiency required
- Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
