Job Summary
The General Ledger Accountant ensures the integrity of the accounting of transactions in the general ledger, upholding compliance and responsibilities in the FSSC process model as well as the ICS model. Key responsibilities include managing general ledger reporting for multiple companies, preparing financial statements, generating monthly recurring journal entries, analyzing balance sheet fluctuations, and reconciling inter-company transactions. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, and have over 5 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Familiar with modern office methods, practices, procedures and equipment
- Competent in correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and advance arithmetic
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications
- CPA is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Ability to treat information in a confidential manner
