Job Summary
General Ledger Accountant - Associate responsible for the General Ledger month end close process for entities within the Global HR organisation, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the Firm’s books and records for compensation and benefits. Primary duties include GL entries, Balance Sheet reconciliation and substantiation, variance analysis and reporting, maintaining internal controls, and participation in internal and external audits. The role supports the Financial Controller function focused on credibility through accounting controls, systems, and reporting, aligned with HR Corporate Financial Controllers. Interactions span HR teams, Corporate FP&A, Legal Entity Controllers, Tax, external vendors, and audit groups. Involves SOX/RCSA participation, detailed process documentation, and delivering timely financial insights.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in month end close/finance-related areas
- Part qualified accountant with working US GAAP accounting knowledge
- Strong Excel skills
