Job Summary
Prepare materials, assist with equipment operation, and inspect finished products to meet quality standards while supporting filament winding, drill and cut operations, and module preparation. Set up production machinery, perform basic troubleshooting, and operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. Organize storage areas, complete routine maintenance tasks, and assist the Quality team with testing and documentation. Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and lean manufacturing initiatives. Requires forklift experience, manufacturing background, and ability to lift 30 kg or more in a hot, humid environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous forklift/lift truck experience
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, routers, and nailers
- Basic ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work with both metric and imperial measurements
- Physically capable of repeatedly lifting 30 kg or more
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in hot, humid, and changing manufacturing conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a dependable work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, respirators, and other protective gear as required
