Job Summary
Clean work areas and equipment, maintain the 5S program by painting lines, and perform assigned maintenance and small fabrication tasks. Assist with janitorial duties when staff are absent and support Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the production area. Solve day-to-day issues independently or with the team while demonstrating core values and leadership behaviors. Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Able to use and safely operate a variety hand and power tools
Desired Qualifications
- Able to communicate with co-workers to exchange information about tasks and to coordinate work
- Ability to work mainly independently and in team to carry out tasks which require cooperation, such as lifting heavy objects
- Learn continuously on the job through workplace training
