Job Summary
General Labourer at Stephenson’s Rental Services supports customers by cleaning, servicing, loading/unloading equipment, and maintaining a safe, organized yard and shop. Responsibilities include housekeeping, equipment inspection, inventory cycle counting, packing/packing deliveries, assisting drivers, interacting with co-workers and customers, following safety standards and PPE, and staying familiar with relevant regulations (WHMIS, TDG). The role emphasizes teamwork, customer care, and hands-on maintenance of rental equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License with clean abstract preferred
- Basic technical and troubleshooting skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to deal with customers in person and on the phone
- Adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements
- Awareness of WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods
