Job Summary
Unpack merchandise, assemble simple displays and fixtures with basic hand tools, stock products, and move skids using hand pump trucks while working in teams of 3–6. Dismantle displays, box merchandise, and build or wrap pallets after the event, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow supervisor direction and assist wherever needed throughout the shift. Candidates must be available for setup on September 13–14 and teardown on September 18–19, with steel-toe safety footwear required.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing light to moderate lifting throughout the shift
- Steel-toe safety footwear required
- Be available to accept shifts on short notice
- Be able to travel to the Enercare Centre with minimal notice
- Be reliable and reachable by phone or text on event days
- Complete all onboarding requirements prior to the event
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates available for both the setup and teardown dates
- Previous experience in general labour, light manufacturing, warehouse, retail merchandising, event setup, or similar roles
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to stay busy and take initiative
