Job Summary
General Labourer responsible for removing excess material and preparing metal parts for painting to ensure quality finishes for forestry-industry equipment. Duties include reading work orders, cleaning, sanding, and preparing parts, operating metal cleaning equipment (scrapers, grinders), handling solvents, and using lifting devices like cranes to move raw materials and finished parts. Maintain paint prep and paint booth areas, work collaboratively with teammates, and meet quality standards. Physical work entails standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching, gripping, and up to 50 lbs lifting. Experience in manufacturing or hands-on roles and familiarity with hand/power tools are assets.
