Job Summary
Load, unload, and move materials manually or with equipment while maintaining a clean and organized yard or warehouse space. Operate basic hand tools, power tools, or small machines as needed and assist with mechanical prep or basic repairs. Follow all safety protocols and site procedures, including wearing steel-toe boots, safety gloves, and safety glasses. Support labeling, inventory, and material handling while working independently and with a team to meet daily goals. Availability for overtime and weekends is required. This role is a full-time contract or temp-to-hire position in Northeast Louisiana starting in September.
Required Qualifications
- 12 years of experience in warehousing or storage yard environments (secure facilities)
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to use tools or light equipment
- Comfortable working in secure or gated environments
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
- Steel-toe boots
- Safety gloves
- Safety glasses
