General Laborer

Install erosion and sediment control devices, drive wood stakes with sledgehammers, and apply grass seed, fertilizer, lime, straw blankets, and geo-textile fabric to work areas. Clean track equipment, sweep and shovel mud and debris off construction roads and right-of-way accesses, install T-post and safety fencing, and load/unload construction materials and tools while spotting heavy equipment. Requires high school diploma, valid driver's license, one year of construction experience, and excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy equipment and using hand tools like power tools and grinders. Includes travel out of town during the week or weekends, extensive overtime, and safety-sensitive status.
