General Laborer

General Laborer at Torrance Casting in La Crosse, WI, 2nd shift (2 pm-10 pm). Responsible for operating a stand grinding wheel and various hand and power tools to deburr iron castings weighing 3 to 300 pounds, pushing and placing molds on the pouring deck, using hoists to lift and lower weights, removing hot castings from conveyors, setting up and operating machinery, and recording work activity on a computer. Maintain clean, organized work areas and stock supplies. Must be safety-focused, dependable, motivated, willing to learn and get dirty, proficient with power tools, and a problem-solver. Requires High School diploma or equivalent or on-the-job experience.
