Job Summary
Maintain a safe working environment by complying with Novelis HSE standards, state regulations, and company policies. Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, skid steers, and overhead cranes while coordinating assigned tasks from management. Perform repetitive duties to keep plant areas, workstations, and walkways organized and clean. Notify personnel of equipment irregularities and adhere to ISO and IATF certification standards. Work as scheduled, including overtime, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 operations at the Uhrichsville facility producing flat-rolled aluminum coil for automotive and construction applications.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
- Ability to work as scheduled (including overtime, weekends and holidays) to support our 24/7 operations
- Must have basic knowledge of hand tools
- Must possess a mechanical aptitude
- Must be flexible as job focus and assignments may change daily and by the hour

- Capable of self-direction
- Dependable, team-player who can demonstrate initiative
