Job Summary
General Laborer needed to support telecom installers on renovation projects at the VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include assisting with installation of conduit, hardware, fiber, and copper; reading/interpreting project drawings; maintaining inventory; lifting and moving materials; ensuring safety, documenting daily work, and aiding foreman and technicians to meet deadlines. Must be physically capable of performing repetitive, strenuous tasks, distinguish wire colors, perform basic math, and wear PPE. OSHA 10 certification required; TB test results; U.S. work authorization; 1st shift; hourly pay of $17.20 with benefits.
