Job Summary
Unload parts from laser cutting machines safely and efficiently, then clean and prep metal parts using hand grinders and weld cleaners. Perform basic assembly of components, inspect work for quality, and remove slag or debris as needed. Maintain a clean work area while assisting with material handling and movement within the production floor. Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime available as required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or general labor is a plus
- Experience using hand grinders, weld cleaners, or similar hand tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
