Job Summary
Operate bulk fertilizer, seed, and chemical handling equipment including forklifts, payloaders, and bobcats. Perform regular organizing and upkeep of warehouse facilities while conducting minor repair and maintenance of machinery. Collaborate with the Legacy team to support operations outside your department as needed. Demonstrate adaptability to changing conditions and navigate uncertainty frequently. Maintain safety standards and act as a brand ambassador in all member interactions. Requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and one year of heavy equipment experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- 1 year working with heavy equipment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to lift 100 pounds or more
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of agricultural cooperative or agricultural experience
- 1 year of Agronomy experience
- Commercial driver's license (Class A) or ability to obtain commercial driver's license within 30 days
- HAZMAT, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements or ability to obtain within 30 days
