Job Summary
General Laborer I in an outdoor auto salvage yard, working with the production team to safely process vehicles and salvage materials. Responsibilities include safely handling vehicles, dismantling engines and transmissions, operating the tire machine, sorting core materials, harvesting recoverable parts, collecting and tracking debris, maintaining environmental compliance, and assisting customers. Requires adherence to safety procedures, use of PPE, ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, willingness to work weekends/holidays, and ability to operate tools and equipment in a dusty, noisy outdoor setting. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork within a dynamic shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
