Job Summary
Record elevations with laser levels and uncover buried utilities while performing hands-on ditch work, including digging, laying pipe, and assembling components. Place gravel on grade and operate power and hand soil compaction equipment. Maintain job sites, trucks, and the operations center by keeping them clean, maintained, and organized. This full-time role in southwest Missouri requires lifting up to 125 lbs and reading tape measures, with salary ranging from $18 to $35 per hour. Paid vacations and flexible scheduling are available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MO driver's license with upstanding driving record
- Must be able to provide documentation for legal authorization to work in U.S.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Read and write
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 125 lbs
- Ability to stoop, kneel, climb and move quickly
- Ability to grip tightly
- Possess good dexterity
- Ability to operate power and hand compaction equipment
- Ability to record and interpret elevations with laser level
- Ability to read tape measure, basic tape measure math
- Basic math abilities
- Ability to place gravel on grade in ditch and other excavations
- Plumbing skills, underground lines in particular
- Landscaping skills, final grading and finishing
