General Laborer

General Laborer at a hauling company, transfer station, MRF or landfill. Responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties including yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, operating site vehicles and equipment (such as water trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment), general office maintenance and janitorial tasks, directing traffic on-site, and adhering to safety policies and procedures. Requires ability to read, write, perform basic math, communicate with others, follow instructions, and operate necessary equipment. Physical duties include standing, walking, bending, crouching, lifting up to 65 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds with assistance, and working in outdoor conditions and potentially loud environments.
