Job Summary
Move raw material, work in process, and finished goods into and between work centers. Operate hand and power tools to clean materials and complete minor repairs, including drilling, punching, bending, grinding, torch cutting, shearing, and flattening. Maintain pace with equipment operators to ensure smooth material flow and prevent delays. Use measuring tools to maintain quality standards and read, interpret, and understand customer order requirements. Communicate daily with the foreman regarding job information and report any problems or quality concerns immediately. Maintain neat and accurate written production documentation. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Basic reading and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Dexterity skills & Balance
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for Monday thru Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
- Must be able to operate hand and power tools
- Must be able to operate machinery for drilling, punching, bending, grinding, torch cutting, shearing, flattening
- Must be able to move raw material, work in process, and finished goods
- Must be able to move finished material onto skids
- Must be able to maintain pace with equipment operators
- Must be able to use basic measuring tools
- Must be able to maintain neat and accurate written production documentation
- Must be able to read, interpret, and understand job requirements
- Must be able to communicate with foreman
- Must be able to report problems or quality concerns to supervisor
