Job Summary
Conduct field-based construction work for solar fields, executing tasks including string line, laser, pile shakeout, pile installation, pile remediation, tracker shakeout, slew gear installation, torque tube installation, drive line installation, motor installation, huck & BOM, MIB, damper, module staging, module installation, tracker QA/QC, and module QA/QC. Lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive actions such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching while standing or walking for extended periods. Follow precise instructions and collaborate with colleagues and supervisors on construction projects. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, while managing exposure to loud noises, dust, and debris.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
- This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc
- This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on construction projects preferred
- GED or equivalent education preferred
