Job Summary
General Laborer needed to support daily operations on an active construction jobsite in Austin, with responsibilities including loading/unloading materials, preparing work areas, digging trenches, backfilling, compacting soil, mixing/placing concrete and asphalt, assisting skilled trades, erecting/dismantling scaffolding, removing debris, following OSHA safety guidelines, and operating basic hand/power tools. Must pass background check, have dependable transportation, and be able to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly; OSHA 10 and valid driver's license are a plus. Seasonal summer position with full-time outdoor work and PPE provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass background check
- Dependable transportation to/from job site daily
- Prior construction or labor experience preferred; on-the-job training available
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- OSHA 10 certification a plus
- Valid driver's license a plus
- Age 17+
