Comply with safety standards at all times and correct or report observed hazards. Act as a floater to learn multiple mill positions daily, including cleanup duties and equipment operation. Sweep and shovel debris, wood pieces, and sawdust; lift, flip, pull, and push lumber. Operate a full wheelbarrow to clean and haul waste materials, and use air to blow floors and equipment. Maintain waste systems by identifying and clearing clogs. Use hand and power tools such as circular saws and chainsaws to break up materials for removal. Perform startup and shut down procedures for specific equipment as assigned. Wear required personal protective equipment at all times. On-site attendance is essential. Must be eighteen years or older and pass pre-employment criminal history and drug screening.
