Job Summary
Assist in operating plasma and oxy-fuel burn table equipment by loading and unloading steel plates, sorting labeled parts, and supporting machine setup and shutdown. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while identifying equipment needs and minimizing material waste. Operate forklift and overhead crane if trained, following production schedules and supervisor direction. Comply with all safety policies and procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment involving heat, cold, noise, dust, and fumes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat and cold exposure
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and fumes
- Must be able to wear required PPE
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn equipment and processes
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and dependability

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or labor experience preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Experience with burn tables or CNC equipment
- Forklift and/or overhead crane experience
- Ability to read basic blueprints or shop drawings
