Job Summary
Receive incoming shipments, move material throughout the facility, and maintain a record of material movement. Support other general facility functions, dispose of trash and debris, and keep the work area organized, clean, and safe. Observe all safety rules and regulations, wear issued safety equipment, and assist team members in adhering to safety requirements. Perform duties including standing and walking for over eight hours, lifting up to 75 pounds, and working outside year-round in all conditions. Operate heavy machinery and hand tools as needed, utilizing a tablet for documenting inspections and interpreting simple instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to interpret and manipulate simple computer software programs
- Ability to utilize a tablet for purposes of documenting field inspections
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit number and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using unity of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to read a ruler to 1/16"
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Standing and walking for durations which could exceed 8 hours in a day
- Use hands and fingers to control, handle and feel objects
- See details of objects from a distance
- Lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds when necessary
- Work outside year-round in all conditions present
- Climb stairs, ladders, and walk on uneven terrain
- Squat, crawl, and climb
