Job Summary
Cut and bend rebar to specified lengths and shapes using benders and cutters, then assemble components according to project specifications and technical drawings. Operate fabrication equipment safely, deliver materials with a forklift, and ensure machines remain in good working condition. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy while maintaining clean work areas and following all safety protocols and PPE requirements. Work collaboratively to meet daily production goals, participate in team meetings, and adapt to shifting demands in a loud environment with moving machinery. Lift 25–50 lbs occasionally more, including frequent bending and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Strong manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical measuring tools
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to adapt to shifting production demands
- Ability to read and follow written, verbal, and technical instructions
- Ability to operate a forklift safely
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Effective organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, including frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. (occasionally more)
