Job Summary
General Production team member performing meat-processing tasks on a 2nd shift (2:55 PM–11:30 PM) at Smithfield Foods. Responsibilities include using hand tools, knives, and machinery to process meat products, maintaining safety, quality, and teamwork on a high-volume production line, and supporting coworkers in a physically demanding environment. Must be able to stand for long periods, follow instructions, and work overtime as needed; 18+ years old and able to work in conditions involving cold/warm areas, PPE, and sanitation requirements. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and contributing to Smithfield’s mission of delivering good food responsibly. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- General Production responsibilities including operating hand tools, knives, machinery
- Ability to work a 2nd shift 2:55 PM - 11:30 PM
- Willingness to work overtime as needed

- Ability to stand for long periods and work around animals and raw meat products
- Compliance with safety PPE and sanitation requirements
