Job Summary
General Laborer needed to support remanufacturing of transmissions. Duties include reading and following detailed work instructions, examining components for wear and defects, cleaning parts, performing quality checks, operating various tools and machines, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and assisting team members. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to handle hand tools and measurement gauges, physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. On-site, full-time role based in Milwaukee, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Mechanical background or related experience preferred
- Ability to read gauges and dimensions
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Stand and work for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work in a dirty environment and with chemicals
- Comfort with manual, hydraulic, pneumatic tools and equipment
