General Laboratory Supervisor: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)

Job Summary
Oversee front-line laboratory testing operations across at least two technical areas, including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, or Microbiology. Troubleshoot instrument problems as they occur and maintain proficiency in the quality control, proficiency testing, and process improvement programs. Ensure regulatory compliance for all overseen testing and manage staff competency, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Maintain a healing environment for employees and patients while supervising specialty technical areas. Requires an associate or bachelor's degree in lab science, ASCP registry eligibility, and four years of experience in high-complexity testing.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a lab science
- Graduate of an accredited medical lab technician or medical technologist program
- Meets the alternative education and experience set forth by the ASCP to become registry eligible for the MLT or MT category
- Training and relevant experience in high complexity testing of Immunology, Chemistry, Hematology and Microbiology
- At least four (4) years of relevant experience in a high complexity laboratory setting
