Job Summary
Move and secure lumber products according to instructions, stacking finished materials into predetermined bundle sizes and customer requirements. Label material by type, size, and count using individual tags before or after treating and production, then apply corner protectors and loading sticks. Use a staple gun to troubleshoot equipment while ensuring correct quantities are strapped and labeled before leaving the work area. Maintain accurate inventory of tags, report discrepancies to a supervisor, and record production on sheets. Keep the area clean and organized, assist with loading and unloading carts, and participate in safety and CI programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
- manufacturing or lumber experience
- Working knowledge of basic math
