Job Summary
Move and secure lumber products and other materials according to instructions. Stack finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and customer requirements. Label material based on specifications for type, size, and count, applying individual tags before or after treating. Use a staple gun, troubleshoot equipment, and band, bundle, and secure material including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks. Ensure correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving the work area. Maintain accurate inventory of tags, report discrepancies to the supervisor, record production on sheets, and keep the area clean and organized. Assist with other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts. Participate in safety, CI, and other programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
- manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math
