Job Summary
Execute manufacturing processes that add value and create high-quality dairy products at a Land O'Lakes facility. Perform assigned tasks while wearing personal protective equipment, ensuring a safe working environment across temperature zones and dusty areas. Communicate work order progress to supervisors and operate high-tech processing and packaging equipment such as baggers, palletizers, and cookers. Maintain flexibility in work performed and schedule, including potential weekend, holiday, and overtime coverage during the 90-day probationary period.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience
- Forklift Experience and/or Certification
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holidays
- Must be available for periodic overtime
- Must be available for days, nights, and weekends
- Must be able to lift
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to push, pull, raise arms, bend/stoop, turn, twist, walk, and stand
- Must be able to work in cold and/or hot environments
- Must be able to work in environments where dust is present
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Self-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
- Ability to trouble shoot mechanical problems
- Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators
- Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team
- Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule
- Knowledge of various pieces of high-tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment. Examples include but not limited to baggers, palletizers and cookers.
