Job Summary
General Labor Processing/Harvest role at Tyson Foods Pasco Plant. Responsibilities span Processing and Harvest duties, including handling products in cold and hot environments, using knives/hooks to bone-out or trim meat, and operating or assisting with powered equipment (saws, whizard knives, skinner machines). Must be able to push/pull/carry/lift up to 40 pounds and stand 8-10 hours daily. Training completion and adherence to post-offer health screening and employment checks are required. Shift is A Shift, 5:30am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday with overtime potential; relocation not offered. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Standing 8-10 hours a day
- Work around meat products and related environments
- Use of knives/hooks for bone-out or trimming; possible powered equipment (saws, whizard knives, skinner machines)
- Ability to work in extreme cold (33-49 degrees) or hot/humid environments (80-100 degrees in harvest)
- Availability for A Shift 5:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday including Saturdays; overtime available
- Must provide authorization to work in the United States; pass urinalysis health screen
- Background checks may be required for certain roles
