Job Summary
General Labor position focused on packaging and sanitation functions in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include loading and operating packaging equipment, labeling, boxing, weighing, palletizing, boxing construction, coding, inspection, packing, taping and labeling, plus maintaining GMP adherence, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct. Requires following proper feeding processes, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to work as part of a team. Key skills include strong listening, initiative, teamwork, reading and following SOPs, effective verbal/written communication, flexibility to cover breaks, and physical stamina to perform standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a fast-paced, cool and sometimes wet environment. Shift is 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Strong listening skills
