Job Summary
Move ducks following established well-being guidelines, assist with unloading market-age trailers, and transfer birds between barns, round rooms, and belts. Wash and disinfect trucks and trailers promptly, maintain excellent facility cleanliness, and report equipment or safety hazards immediately. Support the manager by identifying and correcting efficiency, quality, or safety issues. Perform routine housekeeping and complete additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely handle live poultry up to 10 lbs.
- Comfortable with bending, twisting, and moderate ladder climbing
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with others at all levels
- Commitment to following all company policies — including Safety, Duck Well-Being, and Biosecurity
Desired Qualifications
- Previous poultry or agricultural experience
- Bilingual candidates
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
