Job Summary
Conduct general labor duties across all processing departments at Tyson Foods Complex Green Forest, including cutting chicken with scissors and knives, lifting varying weights, and working on platforms two feet above the floor. Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching in cold, damp, or hot, humid environments with slippery surfaces. Work all shifts on fast-moving processing lines while tolerating motion and navigating stairs between lower-level departments. Hourly pay rate is $16.55. Prior employees must wait 365 days before reapplying and may apply only if they have worked at Tyson no more than three times.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to work in any processing department and/or any available shift
- Willingness to work in a very cold environment
- Willingness to go up and down stairs
- Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken
- Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line
- Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level
- Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach
- Willingness to walk up and down stairs
- Willingness to stand on and work on a plat form that is about two feet above floor level
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
