Job Summary
Navigate warehouse racking to pull orders using RF scanners, distinguishing between "Each," "Inner Pack," and "Case" quantities. Load and off-load containers for inbound and outbound trailers using "Tetris-style" stacking to maximize cube utilization. Sort bulkier medical equipment for LTL shipping and small-parcel items for UPS/FedEx/DHL bins. Build, wrap, and tag pallets, ensuring heavy "base" items support lighter "top" items. Cross-reference physical pulls against digital packing slips to ensure 100% shipping accuracy. Requires physical adaptability for lifting up to 50 lbs and knowledge of forklift right-of-way protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pivot between light repetitive sorting (under 10 lbs) and heavy manual loading (up to 25-50 lbs)
- Must ensure heavy 'base' items support lighter 'top' items to prevent product crush
- Knowledge of trailer restraint systems, dock plates, and forklift right-of way protocols
